SAFETY IN FOCUS FOR IRATA

Rope Access Sweden has the highest safety standards there is in the rope access industry. We are accredited by the independent Industrial Rope Access Trade Association, IRATA.

Ever since IRATA was founded all hours worked by member companies all over the world following the IRATA standards have been logged, in 2008 alone more than 6 million hours were logged. Statistics show that IRATA accredited companies have the safest work methods there are.

• Not one single fatal accident in the past 20 years
• 1,22 accidents per 100 000 hours worked in 2008
• One fourth as many accidents reported per hour as compared to manufacturing industry in general
• Continuous improvement work has led to a decreasing accident frequency year over year
